We discovered that our son was not growing up in a neurotypical way. He even at the age of five is not able to have proper conversation. Following up with the initial diagnosis of his problem led us to take on the necessary steps i.e. early intervention in form of therapies and special education etc. The journey we embarked upon was not part of our plan yet we persisted. We have our moments of challenges as well as joy. That is perhaps the story of most ASD parents.
